I need this book! This is the author that made me love reading. I never buy books on their release day, but I'll be the first one in line to get this one.
I've been a huge fan of ATLA since the beginning, and have been dying to know what happened to everyone after the series ended. While I wish it was another season of the show, I'll gladly take a graphic novel if it means I get to know what happened to some of my favorite characters of all time.
Doppelgängers is back! I'm changing things up a bit with this feature. Book covers will still battle it out to the death, and you'll still get to vote for your favorites. The difference is, I'll be saving my thoughts on the covers until the voting is over.
So, here are this week's covers. I'll post my thoughts on them next week when I reveal the next set of Doppelgängers.
On My Shelf highlights books I've acquired and read in the past week, as well as a little about what I'm writing, and other blog worthy news. I think it's pretty obvious where I got my inspiration for the feature from, but I will follow blog etiquette and link to Alea (This Week in Books @ Pop Culture Junkie), Sheila (It's Monday, What Are You Reading? @ Book Journey), and Kate (The Shelf Report @ The Neverending Shelf) anyway. ;)
Uglies wasn't my favorite book by Scott Westerfeld, and truthfully isn't even a favorite in general, but I still really want to read this. A graphic novel set in that world seems more interesting, to me.
